Kaitee's Heatless Curl Guide

With this guide, I'll help you navigate the world of heatless curlers and how to use them for the best results. Let's get started!

What heatless curler should I use?

Deciding what heatless curler to use can be a daunting task, but we're here to help. Here are a few options you might consider:

Flexi rods will give you maximum curl and bounce to your hair. You can play with different sections, sizes, and wrap techniques to achieve different curls.

How to: This YouTube Video tutorial can guide you through the process.

  • Small Flexi Rods may be used for maximum curls

  • Satin flexi rods will give you more shine, and a softer curl, making them great to sleep in.

Tips:

  • Twist the hair as you wrap for a more defined curl

  • Use a cream or oil/serum on your ends to reduce frizz

Headband rods can be worn multiple ways for variations of comfort and curl patterns.

How to: Grab a small section on the top and wrap around once, add another strand to the original piece and warp again. Repeat until you run out of hair.

Tips

  • Twist the hair tight and in small sections for a tight curl

  • Push up the ends of your hair for a tighter more defined curl

  • Leave the ends looser for a “blowout” and bouncy curl

Buns "blow out curls"

The “overnight blowout’ will give you bouncy voluminous hair. Less of a curl.

How to: Take your hair in 3 sections. Top triangle section take your hair forward and roll it backwards

Back 2 sections, pull hair forward and roll backward away from the face.

Tips:

  • Use hairspray to tame fly-aways

  • Wrap slightly damp or spray water on your hair for a tighter curl

That wraps up our guide! Remember, each method requires a bit of practice to perfect, but with time, you'll be creating stunning heatless curls in no time.
